Mite Class & Fall Gathering

Free Varroa Mite class on Sat Oct 14th . 3:30 pm to 5pm.

6 Shore Rd, Tottenville, SI NY 10307

It will be followed by a Staten Island Beekeepers Association meet that all Beekeepers are welcome to! 

3:30 to 4pm will be outdoors in the Apiary, bring a vail if you want. We will he demonstrating how to do a Mite count. This part is weather permitting. 

4 -5 pm will be indoors. A free presentation by Green Stinger Beekeeping Services about three different types of Mites that effect our bees, and how we can all improve our IPM systems. 

5 -6 pm will be the Staten Island Beekeepers Gathering, with snakes and drink providers by Beezy Beez, Green Stinger and Kultuks Honey.
